Phoebe: The results from the Poll

Hey everyone!

I apologise as it’s been a while since my last post! :) Just thought I’d give a really quick update on how the poll is going. So far 71 people have voted. Thank you for your votes!!! It’s exciting hearing other peoples’ ideas and inspires me for more interesting prints. Since the poll a couple of people have emailed me and let me know what they like and are waiting to see what’s online so they can make a purchase. All I need to do is actually start designing :P So here are the results from the 71 votes…drum roll please….

Here are the results from the Poll!

So there are more results too! Quite a few people made suggestions which is great! The more specific the better hehe :)  My absolute favourite is a “Centaur punching a unicorn in the face” and “Retro cartoons like superted.” Omg what a crack up! :)

So thanks so much to everyone who voted. (More votes welcome at any stage as I’m always interested in new ideas!) I’ll keep working on the designs and send out another poll for voting on designs soon!

Have an awesome Christmas!

Phoebe: Cool ideas for a t-shirt print!

Hello All! :)

Thought I’d conduct a little survey. Wanting to see what kind of things you wear everyday. It can be anything from colour, to prints, to styles. Links welcome. Please write this in the comments section! And the second question is: what kind of stuff you’d like to see on a t-shirt? I’ll try to design some stuff that fits in with the subjects or themes.

Please vote the ones you think are cool and remember to add two subjects too! It can be anything non offensive and not racist :P Looking forward to hearing what you have to say.  Thanks!

Kristi: taking the plunge – what to call it?

Hello again!

Before I choose a name for my online t-shirt store, I need to work out the brand, who it is for and what I want it to represent. Here are my thoughts…

Who is it for?

  1. – people wanting custom tees for their events or clubs (mainly  guys but also girls)
  2. – creative people who want to make a statement by what they wear

Things they will want to create:

  • Hens nights, Bucks nights
  • Schoolies, Footy/soccer trips
  • Fun runs, charity events, Pub crawls
  • School/university clubs & societies
  • Baby shirts
  • Sports uniforms
  • Make a statement

I asked a few friends what they liked/didn’t like about ordering custom t-shirts. Here what they are:

  • Good quality shirts that are comfy to wear and don’t shrink
  • Give you a cheap price since you’re ordering online and doing the work!
  • Good quality prints that wont fade after one wash
  • Prices upfront
  • Good selection but not too many to overwhelm me
  • Tell me what colors and sizes are available
  • Give me some inspiration!
  • Make it easy to order online
  • Let me see what it looks like on the t-shirt
  • Tell me how long it will take upfront
  • Have a phone and/or email I can contact you on
  • Tell me where you are – a physical address

Personality of the brand:

Honest, upfront, open

Refreshingly good service

Sense of humour, don’t take ourselves too seriously

Key point of difference:

Make ordering custom t-shirts enjoyable.

So, next question – what to call it?

I have two ideas. I like one, my husband likes the other. What do you think?
